We are extremely proud to announce that one of our clients, Mudlick Mail, is expanding into an exciting new field.  Since its inception in 2008, Mudlick has used its particular brand of targeted direct mail to help auto shop owners attract more customers.  Using Mudlick’s in depth research and turnkey campaigns, some shop owners have increased sales by as much as 40 percent. Now, Mudlick is offering its services for the dental industry.
Our agency has been key in securing regular media coverage for Mudlick Mail over the past few years and we look forward to working hard in the coming months to help Mudlick Mail gain traction in this new market.  You can read about Mudlick Mail’s launch in the dental market here.  We’ll also be introducing Mudlick Mail’s services to dental trade magazines and hope to share some placements with you soon.
We have had great success in placing Mudlick Mail in auto shop trade magazines and the Stasko Agency has been instrumental in raising the profile of Mudlick and its owner, Greg Sands.  We look forward to keeping you updated on the amazing growth of this highly successful business and we’re more excited than ever to work with Mudlick to expand its imprint in the direct mail industry.

The end of the year provides us with a great opportunity to reflect back on all the work we did in the past year. While it seems like a blur now, we accomplished quite a bit in 2012, from helping introduce the public to an array of new projects that promise to change the landscape of Denver (Cadence Union Station, RTD’s Sheridan Parking Garage); to providing the exposure our entrepreneurial clients needed to launch their services in new markets (Mudlick Mail, VideoBloom, iVote) to marking important anniversaries (Little Man Ice Cream, Paxia Authentic Mexican Cuisine).

One of our favorite projects this year involved a group of very enthusiastic preteens and more than 2,000 cans of food. To celebrate its 70th anniversary in Colorado, Swinerton Builders launched an educational initiative called Discovery Builders, in the Adams County charter school, The Academy. Over six weeks, Swinerton employees taught fifth-to-eighth grade students how to use math and science to solve real-world construction problems. Their work culminated in the construction of a
a 14-foot tall replica of the Four Seasons Hotel (a Swinerton project) made completely out of canned food.

We were thrilled to be present for the build-out one cloudy afternoon in October and we can’t say enough about how well these students worked with their mentors to create a truly amazing model. Check out the photos below for proof of this wonderful collaboration.

We are proud to report that all of the food used to build the Four Seasons replica was donated to Community Food Share, a food bank serving Boulder and Broomfield counties.

The Colorado Real Estate Journal highlighted the project in it’s December 19th issue and the Arvada Press which ran a story about the company’s achievements in Colorado in November. You can read it here.

Congratulations to Swinerton and all of our clients for setting and achieving such high goals and giving us plenty to talk about!

Call it our brush with Bruce. Last month, Olympic champion and reality television star Bruce Jenner served as the keynote speaker for the Mudstock 2010 training summit hosted by Stasko Agency client Mudlick Mail. A direct mail provider for the automotive service industry, Mudlick brought Bruce to Mudstock (held in tiny Kingston, GA) to inspire attendees, who were there to learn strategies to grow sales.

Bruce not only earned rave reviews from Mudstock participants, but also garnered plenty of coverage from online news sites. The social media releases we distributed to promote Bruce’s appearance at the event received nearly 85,000 impressions and were picked up by celebrity sites such as Celebopedia, Zimbio and the auto blogs justgoodcars and All World Automotive.

The local newspaper – the Rome News-Tribune – also turned out to interview Bruce, pictured here with Mudlick Mail CEO Greg Sands and Mudlick Mail President Tim Ross. The article and a video of the interview can be viewed here.

The Stasko Agency is excited to be teaming with Erika Gonzalez of Scoop PR to provide media relations services for Mudlick Mail. Erika was a longtime reporter at the Rocky Mountain News and served as the spokesperson for the Colorado Lottery before starting Scoop. Welcome to the Stasko family Erika!
